What we do at Mighty Oaks

Our Wrap Around Care service, Mighty Oaks, we offer before and after school care.

Children attend from Acorn Pre-School, Shefford Lower School and Robert Bloomfield Academy.

Breakfast Club from 7:45am

After School Club till 6pm

We provide a safe, relaxing, healthy, social and fun environment for children who attend.

If your child attends Shefford Lower School we will safely escort them from our Breakfast Club and into the school building. At the end of the day we collect them from their classroom, escorting them to After School Club at 3.20pm.

For children attending from Robert Bloomfield Academy we ensure that they are at the school for 8.40am. At the end of the day we meet them at a central point for return to Mighty Oaks.

We offer fun activities for the children, they have access to our outdoor area all year round. The children can choose the activities and the toys, they also have can vote and request for new toys and activities.

We have planned weekly activities and these have included: Photo Booth Evening, Planting Sunflowers, Science Week, Cooking Evenings and much much more. The Mighty Oaks Children's Committee share their ideas, plan main events and  gather requests for new resources.
